API stands for Application Programming Interface and is a set of clearly defined methods to enable interoperability between computer systems. eTRM API is RESTful API, using the HTTP transport protocol and predefined sets of stateless operations that reference eTRM objects through unified resource identifiers (URI).
eTRM API is read-only so that other systems can consume eTRM data. Access is limited to registered eTRM users, requiring an API token from the userβs account, and follows the same system and measure role permissions configured in eTRM.
The "eTRM API Specification" document below contains detailed information about the eTRM API, including connection instructions and available API calls.
